As you may already know, the EddieHub Kubernetes cluster already has the EddieBot deployed via GitHub Actions. I am pleased to say that the Community's API project has also been deployed by the Kubernetes cluster. This means that when your PR's are merged they will be automatically be deployed for everyone to view!

I always encourage you to get your daily green square, but this should never be to the detriment of your wellbeing. Taking time for self-care will make you a more creative and productive person.

Hydrangea Hacks: 18 to 20 May
A weekend-long virtual hackathon for students of marginalized genders to promote inclusivity and diversity in the STEM community. The event is open to all students ages 13+ who self-identify as women (cis and trans) or non-binary individuals. Look out for Eddie's talk on "Accelerate your skills and career with Open Source” in the pre-hackathon on the 17th June!
Def Hacks Worldwide 3.0: 25 to 27 June
A free 36-hour worldwide event for high school and college students of all skill levels collaborating to create innovative projects to solve the worlds problems, learn new skills, ask questions to top tech minds, participate in fun mini-events, and win amazing prizes. On the 26th June Eddie will be sharing his experiences and journey in "Eddie Jaoude's Open Source Adventures".
Welcome Selkie to Pets in Tech! Elena Perez explains that Selkie's name derives from Norse and Celtic mythology, meaning "seal folk"; a mythological being capable of changing from seal to human form by shedding their skin. This 4 month old athletic panda pug likes to distract Elena from coding - just look at those eyes, who wouldn't be distracted!
